Meet Lindsay

I'm just a regular person who cares about local government. I attend city council meetings for fun, speak during public comment when I feel strongly about something, and pay attention to what our council is doing. I believe a Councilmember should be out in the streets everyday: shopping at local businesses, picking up trash, and building community. That's what I currently do and what I will continue to do if elected.
I moved to Tacoma's Eastside in 2019 and began getting involved in the neighborhood almost immediately. I served on the McKinley Hill Neighborhood Steering Committee for two years and was just elected to the Eastside Neighborhood Advisory Council of Tacoma (ENACT) board in 2025.I've been a government employee my whole life. For the last 6 years, I've worked in the permits department for a nearby jurisdiction. Prior to moving to Washington, I was a fire inspector and member of the IAFF Local 2400. I currently live on the border of the Eastside & South End with my husband and 2-year-old daughter.
Finally, here are a few quick facts about me to help you determine if we share the same values: I voted for Initiative 1 to support tenant's rights in 2023. Last year I spoke at one of several public hearings to share my support for Home in Tacoma. I will ask what your pronouns are. I love Beyonce.
